With summer right around the corner, it's time to think about keeping children
healthy while school is out. Southside School District provides free meals to children during the summer.
This summer, meals will be served at Southside High School Cafeteria at 70 Scott Drive and Southside Elementary Cafeteria at 2460 Batesville Blvd. Starting on May 26, 2022 and ending August 5, 2022. Breakfast time 8:00 am - 9:00am Lunch 11:30am - 12:30 pm. We will be closed on July 4th 2022. Serving days will be Monday - Friday.
There are no income requirements or registration. Anyone age 18 or younger may come to eat. Each year, the U.S. Department of Agriculture partners with local organizations like Southside School District,

If your student athlete was unable to participate in the free physicals at school last week, you may take these forms to your personal care provider for a physical and have them fill out completely. Remember, it is mandatory for your students to have an updated physical on file when participating in any athletic activity.

Softball is getting ready for Bauxite in the first round of State 4A at Nashville!
The boys are warming up for the First Round v. Clarksville at the 4A State Tournament!
The Softball Team travels to Nashville, Arkansas to play in the State Tournament! They play against Bauxite at 3:00 in the first round. Go Southerners!
The boys' soccer team travels to Robinson to take on Clarksville at 11:00 am today in the first round of the State Tournament! Go Southerners!
The Mental Health Awareness Foundation Team was honored to present at the Arkansas Charter School Conference yesterday! The team was glad have another opportunity to generate interest in their plans and goals for their program.

First round Regional games have now been moved to Saturday.
Saturday will only be first round games with the original start times.
Southside plays Wynne at 5:30. All of the games are still at Brookland High School. If you have purchased tickets, they are still good for Saturday's game.
Semi Finals, Consultation Game, and Championship Game will now take place on Monday.
Southside Choir will be performing a Disney concert TONIGHT at 6:30 p.m., featuring songs from Encanto, Tangled, Cars, Pocahontas and many other Disney favorites. Dig out your mouse ears and come enjoy the music!
