Key Club's annual "Christmas Brings Hope" food drive had another successful year. 🎄
After collecting nonperishable food at the school through various projects, Key Club members transported the food to the fairgrounds. Here, the food was sorted and dispersed into boxes, and then will be delivered by Kiwanis to various families in our area who sincerely need it. #bettertogether #togethernomatterwhat

Families of Southside Students may request school meal pick up during the Christmas Break. A drive-up event will be held on Tuesday, December 21 and Tuesday, December 28. Each box will contain five school lunches and five school breakfasts. Meals can be picked up between 9:30-11:30. Sign up via Google Form or call Rhonda Fowler at 870-251-2341.

With excitement and pride, we would like to inform you that Southside School District had eight young men and women selected from hundreds of students across the southern United States to be included in the honor choirs for the SouthWest American Choral Directors' Association Convention. The event will take place February 28-March 3, 2022 in Little Rock, AR. The students submitted online recorded auditions in October to be considered, which were then judged by a panel of choir directors from the seven state area. They competed against approximately 1,000 students for a chance to be included in the honor choirs. Out of these submissions, about 100 per age group were selected to participate.
