Southside is proud to announce that two of our talented students have ornaments featured in the Arkansas Celebrates America250 State Ornament Project on display at the Arkansas State Capitol!
Kiari Cooper (8th grade) and Cam Millikin (6th grade) each created unique, beautifully crafted ornaments that now hang as part of the statewide collection. Their work represents our district in this special project celebrating creativity, craftsmanship, and Arkansas pride.
The full ornament display is installed in the Old Supreme Court Room at the State Capitol and will remain open to the public through mid-January. If you'd like to explore the full digital gallery—including Kiari and Cam’s ornaments—you can visit the Arkansas Department of Education’s online collection.
