Public Comment – Southside Safe Room Application
The Southside School District is requesting comment on the possible development of a tornado safe room located on the Southside campus between the Junior High School and the Senior High School buildings. This will begin the process of preparing an application for FEMA grant funds. These applications are being evaluated and competitively distributed nationally.
All residents of the Southside School District and the City of Southside are encouraged to provide comments via telephone at 870-251-2341, email at roger.rich@southsideschools.org, or letter at Roger Rich, Southside School District, 70 Scott Drive, Batesville, AR 72501. Comments must be received by November 15, 2020 to be considered for this safe room project application.
