Join us in celebrating this fun day! 👑👔👟

In light of recent updates that Governor Hutchison announced concerning quarantine guidelines in schools, Southside’s School Board has voted to suspend its’ face covering policy at this time. We appreciate your understanding as we navigate these new guidelines.

Our District has been asked by the Senate Education Committee to encourage our community to participate in the ARBroadBandNow Survey. This is a very important tool for understanding and addressing current broadband access issues for our schools and students. It is a quick, twelve question survey you can complete using the attached link.
We appreciate your participation!

Valentine’s Day is fast approaching! Unfortunately, our campuses will not be able to accept outside deliveries for Valentine’s Day this year. However, the High School Student Council is selling goodies that will be dispersed during school. Forms with options of goodies will be sent home with students for you to fill out and return.

We value your feedback! Please view the following calendar options for the 2022-2023 school year. There is a place at the bottom to indicate which option you would prefer. Please note that childcare options through TRACKS and Pre-School will be available on some of the non-school days. We would continue the same closures for childcare as we currently practice. Our center closes the week before school starts; Martin Luther King, Jr Day; President's Day; Good Friday; Memorial Day; 4th of July; Labor Day; 2 days at Thanksgiving; and 4 days at Christmas/New Years. A total of 17 days during the entire calendar year. The survey will close Monday, February 14th at noon.

Our counselors make a difference in the lives of students, staff, and families that they work with every day. Meet our Middle School Counselor, Amanda Williams! We want to take this week to honor all the hard work she does for our District!

Congratulations to Michael Burnett for reaching the One Million word mark!

It's National School Counseling Week! Mrs. Amanda Williams is one of the best and we are blessed to have her! #bettertogether
