Mrs. Pinkett’s class stepped into a frozen ice castle this week while learning all about Magic E. Students discovered how Magic E quietly sits at the end of a word and “freezes” the vowel inside, making it say its name.
The class participated in several hands-on, frozen-themed activities, including a Frozen Fort room hunt to find words hidden throughout the room. Each student also used their own Magic E wand to transform CVC words into CVCe words, bringing phonics to life in a fun and memorable way.
It was an engaging lesson full of learning, creativity, and plenty of excitement—everyone had a blast exploring the magic of Magic E.
