The Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters (HIPPY) Program is a home based preschool program serving parents of 3, 4, and 5 year old children.  The HIPPY program currently serves more than 85 families.

HIPPY USA believes that all parents want what’s best for their children. And the HIPPY program was developed to help parents empower themselves as their children’s first teacher.

Participating families enjoy a variety of activities designed to include the whole family including monthly group meetings and field trips.

The HIPPY Model:

All HIPPY programs around the world follow the HIPPY model: a developmentally appropriate curriculum, with role play as the method of teaching, staffed by home visitors from the community, supervised by a professional coordinator and with home visits interspersed with group meetings as the delivery methods.

The Southside HIPPY Program is a nationally accredited program and provides, at no cost, curriculum, books and supplies to eligible families.  Southside HIPPY is an Arkansas Better Chance for School Success program.
