Back to School Sensory Play Day
Our preschoolers had so much fun exploring water play, shaving cream, spaghetti noodles, chalk, and more!

Sensory play isn’t just messy fun—it’s learning in action. Activities that engage touch, sight, sound, and movement help children build fine motor skills, strengthen problem-solving, spark creativity, and even support language development.

Hands-on play = big smiles + big learning!

Thank you goes out to Lisa Hardage from ADE (and Huck) for presenting a CLASS training for our educators. We are always striving to do better and do what is right for kids! We can't wait to see you next week!!

Southside School District 2025-2026 School Supply List

Spring Break is almost here! Schools will be closed from March 24–28 for Spring Break. Take this time to relax, recharge, and enjoy time with family and friends. We’ll see you back in class on Monday, March 31!

Join Us for the Shade Tree Ceremony on Tuesday, November 12! We’re excited to welcome the community to celebrate a new addition to our campus! Thanks to the generous donation of 5 beautiful shade trees from the Arkansas Forestry Division, our 4-year-old classes will be planting these trees at Southside Preschool. Location: Southside Preschool Address: Fred Denison Dr Ceremony Start Time: 9:30 AM We hope you can come support our littlest learners as they kick off this special tradition, fostering a love for nature and community care. We hope to see you there!

Picture Days have been scheduled! Mark your calendar for your child's age group and picture day!!

Southside Preschool will close early on Friday, September 13, 2024. The Preschool will close at 5:30pm.

OPEN HOUSE INFORMATION: As construction continues, we will face some logistical challenges with parking for Open House. For this reason, we have made some changes from previous years. Please see below for your student's Orientation or Open House times.
