OPEN HOUSE INFORMATION: As construction continues, we will face some logistical challenges with parking for Open House. For this reason, we have made some changes from previous years. ATTENTION: Cat Bus, Balloon Bus, and Pelican Bus! Beginning Monday (10/16), due to the bridge removal on Camp Tahkodah Road, your child's bus route times will be altered for up to two months. Please allow for your bus to arrive 10 MINUTES EARLIER than normal so they can make the detour to reach the campus on time. Thank you.

We want to encourage everyone with a bus rider to sign up for transportation Remind messages. You can sign up for text message or email notifications and stay informed regarding your student's bus. The Junior High Beta Club is selling Spirit Ribbons to commemorate the 75th Anniversary during Homecoming week. You can pick yours up at any campus.

We are looking forward to the upcoming Laugh and Learn with guest speaker Jeff Veley on October 13th! Students in 4th through 9th grade will get to learn about identifying aggression, managing emotions and resolving social conflicts from an award-winning resilience educator.

After school tutoring will begin next week. Tutoring will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. Students will need to have their ride pick them up in front of the junior high.

The Southside School District provides Special Education and Related Services to students between the ages of 5 (kindergarten) and 21 who qualify for these services under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act. If you feel that your child may be in need of these services, please contact us at 870-251-4018.

Open house for the upcoming school year has been scheduled for Monday, August 14th. Students with a last name beginning with A-L are scheduled for 5:00PM - 6:30PM. Students with a last name beginning M-Z are scheduled for 6:30PM -8:00PM. Date and times apply for all campuses.
