Southside School District will be in session Friday, January 19, 2024. Please look at the picture attached to see if your bus route will have any adjustments for tomorrow.
There will be no school for Southside School District tomorrow, Thursday, January 18th. Unfortunately, we still have many roads that are unsafe. Thank you to all of our employees that spent all day on roads and sidewalks trying to get us ready to return to school.

Going into this weekend, we want to remind the Southside community that school will be closed Monday, January 15 in remembrance of Martin Luther King Jr Day.
We will monitor the weather over the extended weekend in anticipation of winter weather and frigid temperatures. The district will attempt to have a decision about Tuesday's school made by Monday morning in order to give time to make necessary arrangements. You will be notified by phone and/or text. The State Broadband Office is soliciting public comment on the draft of its Digital Skills and Opportunity Plan. The plan is the product of findings from over 10,000 survey responses from Arkansans like you, 32 focus groups and in-person visits to all 75 counties and will help Arkansas access State Digital Equity Grant funds.
