The Southside 4-H Club would like to say a huge thank you to the entire Southside School District for embracing the GO...FIGHT...WIN AGAINST HUNGER Food Drive for our food pantry again this year! You collected 9,324 items in just one week! Southside Southerners most certainly know how to take care of their community! Thank you for helping provide much needed assistance to our friends here in our community!
There was a competition between the buildings in our district and the Southside 4-H Club presented a “traveling trophy” to the winning building at halftime during the football game Friday. It was a very close contest, but the winning building was Southside Elementary School, with 3847 donations!

Preorders are taking place now until this Sunday, September, 19!
A bus question hotline will be available this coming Sunday and Monday for families to call with any bus related questions that you may have. Routes have not been altered from last year, therefore if you have not changed your residence your bus animal and route will stay the same.

The 2021 Southside Elementary and Middle School yearbooks will be delivered in August and distributed when we return to school.
We will have a limited number of extra books if you didn't pre-order and would like to reserve one. Please contact Dana Galloway(dana.galloway@southsideschools.org) at Elementary or Jerri Henley(jerri.henley@southsideschools.org) at MS to have your name added to the list to ensure that you receive a book. The cost is $25.00.

The Southside Elementary STEM camp is designed to make learning fun again! We want our campers to experience how enjoyable learning about science, technology, engineering, and math can be while also getting back to the basics of how kids learn - by discovering the unknown!

The Southside School District will offer a virtual learning day on Friday, April 2. Students are welcome to join the learning on campus or join the learning from home. For more details, please contact your student's principal.

During spring break, families of Southside Students may request a free school meal pick up. A drive-up event will be held on Monday, March 22, 2021. The box will contain 5 days of school meals (breakfast and lunch). Meals can be picked up between 10:00 am and 12:00 pm.
