Congratulations Southside Baseball on winning the district championship!!!

We're beyond thrilled to announce that our Southside Lady Southerners have etched their names into the Arkansas Activities Association record book! With an incredible feat, they've secured the 6th longest conference winning streak in Arkansas girls basketball history!
A huge shoutout to the talented athletes of the 2021-22 and 2022-23 teams, dedicated coaches, and passionate fans who have supported and cheered on our Lady Southerners every step of the way. Your hard work, perseverance, and unwavering commitment have made this achievement possible. Let's keep the momentum going and continue to make history together!

Don't take it from us, take it from the students!
"Sports are a major part of school, so it’s important that schools have a lot of options and variety so that students can explore the different types of activity they might like.
Thanks to Southside, I got to discover cross country. Southside has an amazing cross country team. Even though I wasn’t always excited to run miles, I still enjoyed going to practices and meets, and getting to meet new people and make connections.
Overall, cross country was an amazing experience for me. It brought me a lot of joy and I actually made a lot of new friends. I have some great memories from cross country season, like winning the conference meet! I can’t wait until next year to do it all over again. Cross country is only one of many sports Southside has to offer, there’s still a lot more to discover and explore!!" - 7th Grade Student, Madelyn Herrin
Madelyn said it best, there is so much to discover and explore at Southside! School Choice deadline is May 1st. Apply: https://www.southsideschools.org/page/school-choice-info
