In recognition of Women’s History Month, the Southside School District would like to take a minute to recognize Lieutenant Governor, Leslie Rutledge. Not only is Rutledge a graduate of Southside School District, she is the first female Lieutenant Governor of Arkansas and the former first female Attorney General of our great state.

Today, Southside senior Carys Clark joined Representative Shad Pearce at the House Education Committee. Together, they introduced House Bill 1393, recognizing the first full week of May classes in Arkansas public schools as "Mental Health Awareness Week". The bill passed out of committee and now moves on for a vote in the Arkansas House of Representatives.
We are so proud of you, Carys!

Southside School District would like to thank Whitetails Unlimited Arkansas for their support and donation to the Southside archery and trap shooting programs. Whitetails Unlimited Arkansas presented the teams with a check for $1,800.00. This money is to help with needed supplies for the upcoming seasons.

Due to a water main break at our High School campus, Southside Charter High School will not have classes on Friday, February 17th, 2023. All other campuses will be in session.
Again, this only affects Southside Charter High School---all other campuses will be in session.
