Athletic Update Week of August 21-25
The Southside School District provides Special Education and Related Services to students between the ages of 5 (kindergarten) and 21 who qualify for these services under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act. “I’m Lexi McClellan from Ozark, Arkansas. I played softball two years at Crowder College and three years (due to Covid) at the University of Central Arkansas. I graduated in May with my masters degree in exercise science. I chose southside to start off my teaching and coaching career because it felt like home immediately and the staff works well together to improve the lives of the students beyond just school and athletics. I look forward to stepping into the role of helping students and athletes expand their capabilities and accomplish their goals."

“My name is Bailey Buffington, and I am from Bauxite, Arkansas. I played softball three years at Crowder College and two years at Arkansas Tech University. I graduate in December with my bachelor’s degree in Health and Physical Education Teacher Licensure. CONSTRUCTION ANNOUNCEMENT
