We’re honored to be one of 102 schools in the U.S. named a #CSLeader and awarded $10,000 by @codeorg to expand computer science at our school. Join us for #HourOfCode and #CSEdWeek and give students a chance to explore CS!

We want to send our congratulations to Southside Alumni Mike Hagar and Attorney General Leslie Rutledge as they begin their new roles serving the State of Arkansas.

Come out to the Melba Theater and watch The Grinch!

Tomorrow, Veterans Day, our students who are planning to commit to a branch will serve coffee and treats to veterans in the drive thru in front of the high school. They would like to honor a veteran you know!

Thanks to White River Health and First Community Bank eight students – four from Southside and four from Batesville – were presented a $500 scholarship before the football game on Friday night. One band member, one cheerleader, one dance team member and one football player were selected from each school. The scholarships were awarded based on service to their team or organization and to the community. Congratulations to these eight deserving students!
