Southside bowling teams competed against Flippin at Hollywood Bowl in Batesville in their most recent match. In school bowling, the total team score is made up of two regular games where each bowler plays individually, followed by two Baker games, where teammates take turns rolling frames to create one combined team score.
The Southside boys team earned a strong win with a total score of 2307, defeating Flippin’s 1905. Max Northcutt led the boys with a high game of 200. Royce Brucher followed with a 196, and Braydyn Crabtree added a solid 193.
The Southside girls team also picked up a victory, finishing with 1565 compared to Flippin’s 1328. Jillian Heckel led the way with high games of 136 and 120. Rileigh McCollum and Hollie Maysen-Woodward each rolled 123, while Heidi Lermitte added a 120. The girls also posted their highest Baker game of the season with an impressive 145.
