Southside bowling competed against Midland at Hollywood Bowl in Batesville, with a unique matchup format for the night. Southside’s JV boys faced Midland’s varsity team, while Southside’s varsity boys and girls bowled in an in-house scrimmage. Total scores were based on two games of six-person singles play and two Baker games.

In the JV boys matchup, Southside defeated Midland 1896–1454. Mason Stephens led the way with a high game of 174. Tyler Knactal and Landen Fennell each rolled a 165, and Greyson Alexander added a 162.

In the varsity scrimmage, Bryce Carter led the boys with high games of 210 and 180. Braxton Waggoner posted a 187, Braydyn Crabtree rolled a 181, and Max Northcutt added a 177. On the girls’ side, Heidi Lermitte led with high games of 191 and 140, followed by Rileigh McCollum with a 154 and Jillian Heckel with a 130.

Southside will be back in action against Concord at Hollywood Bowl in Batesville on Tuesday, January 20, at 3:30 p.m.
