Southside bowling competed against Concord at Hollywood Bowl in Batesville, with total scores determined by two games of six-person singles play and two Baker games.
The Southside boys earned a decisive victory, finishing with a total score of 2328 compared to Concord’s 1792. Royce Brucher led the way with high games of 217 and 182. Additional strong performances came from Tyler Knactal with a 216 game, Braxton Waggoner with a 192 game, and Braydyn Crabtree, who rolled games of 186 and 185.
On the girls side, Concord edged Southside, 1745–1593. Rileigh McCollum paced Southside with games of 145 and 121, while Heidi Lermitte added a 123 game and Scarlett Free recorded a high game of 118.
Southside bowling will return to action at the Bakers Tournament on Wednesday, January 21, at 3:45 p.m. at Hijinx Lanes in Jonesboro.
