Southside archery teams delivered an outstanding performance at the Arkansas 3D State Tournament, highlighted by a National qualification, multiple top finishes, and a near-miss from the elementary team.
The Southside Elementary Archery Team placed 8th overall, finishing just one point shy of qualifying for Nationals. Gage Furrow and Brighton Beebe led the team with Top 20 finishes, while Jackson Connell, Gavin Bullard, Zane Faircloth, and Kendall Chism each earned spots in the Top 50.
The Southside Middle School Archery Team secured a 12th place finish and earned a trip to Nationals. Zach Helm captured 3rd place overall and qualified individually, while Hunter Price placed in the Top 20 and Serenity Hagerty finished in the Top 50.
Although the Southside High School Archery Team did not post an official team score due to roster requirements, their results were strong enough to place 9th overall and qualify for Nationals if eligible. Snowda Morrow (Top 20), Kaylee Noah and Annelise Young (Top 30), and Cadence Johnson (Top 50) all turned in strong performances. Notably, Annelise was one of only nine girls in the competition to shoot a 50.
Southside is proud of the dedication and achievement demonstrated by all archers, and we look forward to cheering on our Middle School team at Nationals.
