Winterfest Talent/Club Recognition Night is being rescheduled to Saturday, March 5 at 6:30. We are sorry for the schedule conflicts this may cause, but we are erring on the side of caution.

The Southside School District will be closed to onsite instruction on Friday February 25th, 2022 due to inclement weather. This will be AMI Day 7.

In light of recent updates that Governor Hutchison announced concerning quarantine guidelines in schools, Southside’s School Board has voted to suspend its’ face covering policy at this time. We appreciate your understanding as we navigate these new guidelines.

Our counselors make a difference in the lives of students, staff, and families that they work with every day. Meet our Junior High Counselor, Blythe Mize! We want to take this week to honor all the hard work she does for our District!
Valentine’s Day is fast approaching! Unfortunately, our campuses will not be able to accept outside deliveries for Valentine’s Day this year. However, the High School Student Council is selling goodies that will be dispersed during school. Forms with options of goodies will be sent home with students for you to fill out and return.
We value your feedback! Please view the following calendar options for the 2022-2023 school year. There is a place at the bottom to indicate which option you would prefer. Please note that childcare options through TRACKS and Pre-School will be available on some of the non-school days. We would continue the same closures for childcare as we currently practice. Our center closes the week before school starts; Martin Luther King, Jr Day; President's Day; Good Friday; Memorial Day; 4th of July; Labor Day; 2 days at Thanksgiving; and 4 days at Christmas/New Years. A total of 17 days during the entire calendar year. The survey will close Monday, February 14th at noon.
