Please join us in congratulating Pam Stephens on her well-earned retirement from the Southside School District.
Pam began her journey with Southside in 2018 as a substitute, then served as a floating secretary before stepping into the Accounts Payable position at the Administration Office. She brought with her decades of professionalism, attention to detail, and a deep commitment to serving others.
A lifelong supporter of Southside, Pam is a proud district alumna and an avid Southerner sports fan. Her dedication to our community extends far beyond the school district. She previously spent 42 years working at the cable office and is well known throughout the area for her family’s iconic restaurant, her work ethic, and her unwavering support of the school and athletic programs.
Pam’s knowledge, reliability, and kindness will be greatly missed, but her impact on our district and community will long be remembered. We thank her for her years of service and wish her the very best in this next chapter. Congratulations, Pam, and enjoy your retirement!

Our 3rd grade students put on an outstanding performance of Christmas at the O.K. Corral, a western-themed Christmas play directed by Dawn Harris.

From Christmas in the West to Christmas Is OK, along with fun favorites like Bubble Goo, Sticky Situation, and Tell Me, the students entertained the audience with memorable songs and big smiles.

Thank you to Mrs. Harris for her leadership and dedication, and to our talented students for bringing this holiday story to life.

This week was full of smiles, special guests, and lots of reading across the District!
Both our Elementary and Middle School campuses welcomed families and loved ones for Kids Invite Someone Special breakfast, giving students a chance to share a meaningful start to the day with someone important to them. Students also enjoyed shopping the Book Fair, exploring new stories and building their home libraries.

At the Elementary, the fun continued with Selfies with Santa, adding even more holiday cheer and special memories to the week. Thank you to our families, staff, and volunteers who helped make these moments so special for our students!
